Puppy or Junior

Breeder or new puppy owner - it is a good idea to start raw feeding early in a dog´s life. It can prevent future health problems and therefore vet visits, time and money (if you are interested, check out some studies).

​

Puppies can start a raw diet as early as they start showing interest in solid food - usually at 3 to 4 weeks of age.

​

After arriving in a new home, I support new owners to (continue) feeding raw, making sure to meet the nutritional needs of their puppy and/or junior dog.

Adult or Senior

Each of my food plans is tailored to individual requirements of dog and owner to ensure your dog's health and well-being. Factors like breed, age, activity level, weight and castration are being considered.

​

Older dogs often need less energy and their tolerance for bones or raw ingredients can change. This leads to adjustments in the feeding plan and a special eye needs to be kept on covering nutritional needs.

​

If your dog has any diagnosed or suspected health condition, please choose the food plan "Health Problems" below.

Health Problems

Unfortunately, there are many health problems that can occur during a dog´s life - starting early or when entering senior stage.

 

In many cases, nutritional changes are necessary to ensure the improvement of you dog´s well-being, slow down the progression of the disease and/or reduce suffering.

I offer food plans for the following conditions:
 

  • Over-/underweight

  • Food intolerances and allergies

  • Diabetes mellitus

  • Epilepsy

  • Arthritis and joint problems

Pregnant & Lactating

support period: all the way through pregnancy & lactation period

In the later part of a pregnancy and in the lactation phase, the energy need of a bitch increases. Also, feeding frequencies change.

​

The food plan takes this into account and a frequent communication between you and me ensures that your bitch goes through pregnancy, birth and lactation phase the best way possible.

​

NOTE:

A transition from processed food to raw food should be done before pregnancy.
